bioStories is edited by Mark (Hummel) Leichliter, a writer and freelance editor who publishes fiction, poetry, and essays under the pseudonym Mark Hummel. His work has appeared in numerous literary journals since 1991, including The Bloomsbury Review, Dogwood, Fugue, Matter, The Talking River Review, and Weber Studies, among many others. The author of the novel In the Chameleon's Shadow and the story collection Lost and Found, he taught writing at the University of Northern Colorado for nearly twenty years in addition to serving as a writing program administrator and the director of a writers' conference. Having more recently taught at Journeys School of the Teton Science Schools, he remains a resident faculty member of the Jackson Hole Writers Conference. To learn more about his work, visit his author page.
