bioStories is edited by Mark (Hummel) Leichliter, a writer and freelance editor who publishes fiction, poetry, and essays under the pseudonym Mark Hummel.  His work has appeared in the literary journals The Bloomsbury Review, Dogwood, Fugue, Matter, The Talking River Review, and Weber Studies, among many others.  The author of the novels Water Cycle; In the Chameleon's Shadow; and Man, Underground, he taught writing at the University of Northern Colorado for nearly twenty years in addition to serving as a writing program administrator and the director of a writers' conference.  He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Journeys School of the Teton Science Schools and a faculty member of the Jackson Hole Writers Conference.  To join in a conversation about the writing life and writing process, amid many other topics, visit him at Mark Hummel ~ Confluence Journal ~.   Mark_(Hummel)_Leichliter.jpg
